  • Ps 74:3-9 : 3 Lift up Your feet to the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy has done wickedly in the sanctuary. 4 Your enemies roar in the midst of Your congregations; they set up their banners for signs. 5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees. 6 But now they break down the carved work of it at once with axes and hammers. 7 They have cast fire into Your sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of Your name to the ground. 8 They said in their hearts, "Let us destroy them together": they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land. 9 We do not see our signs: there is no more any prophet; neither is there among us any who knows how long. 10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme Your name forever? 11 Why do You withdraw Your hand, even Your right hand? Pluck it out of Your bosom. 12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. 13 You divided the sea by Your strength: You broke the heads of the dragons in the waters. 14 You broke the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness. 15 You cleaved open the fountain and the flood: You dried up mighty rivers. 16 The day is Yours, the night also is Yours: You have prepared the light and the sun. 17 You have set all the borders of the earth: You have made summer and winter. 18 Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed Your name. 19 O deliver not the soul of Your turtledove to the multitude of the wicked; forget not the congregation of Your poor forever. 20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. 21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise Your name. 22 Arise, O God, plead Your own cause: remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily. 23 Forget not the voice of Your enemies: the tumult of those who rise up against You increases continually.

  • Ezek 38:9-39:10 : 9 You shall ascend and come like a storm, you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you, and all your bands, and many people with you. 10 Thus says the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time, things shall come into your mind, and you shall think an evil thought: 11 And you shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn your hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. 13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions, shall say to you, Have you come to take a spoil? have you gathered your company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? 14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwell safely, shall you not know it? 15 And you shall come from your place out of the north parts, you, and many people with you, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16 And you shall come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes. 17 Thus says the Lord GOD; Are you he of whom I have spoken in former times by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days many years that I would bring you against them? 18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20 So that the fish of the sea, and the birds of the sky, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, says the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. 1 Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 2 And I will turn you back, and leave but a sixth part of you, and will cause you to come up from the far north, and bring you upon the mountains of Israel. 3 And I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand. 4 You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the people that are with you: I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 You shall fall upon the open field, for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD. 6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among those who dwell carelessly in the isles; and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7 So I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let them defile my holy name any more: and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is coming, and it shall be done, says the Lord GOD; this is the day of which I have spoken. 9 And those who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the javelins and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire for seven years. 10 They shall not take wood out of the field, nor cut down any from the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall take spoil from those who spoiled them, and rob those who robbed them, says the Lord GOD.

  • Dan 11:36-45 : 36 And the king shall do according to his will; he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak unusual things against the God of gods, and shall prosper until the indignation is accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall not regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 But in their place, he shall honor a god of fortresses; a god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall deal with the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, whom he shall acknowledge and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many and divide the land for gain. 40 At the time of the end, shall the king of the south push at him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and many ships; and he shall enter the countries and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall also enter the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall follow at his steps. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore, he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas, in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
  • Jonah 4:5-6 : 5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made himself a booth, and sat under it in the shade, until he might see what would become of the city. 6 And the LORD God prepared a plant, and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to relieve him from his grief. So Jonah was exceedingly glad for the plant.
  • Rev 16:1-9 : 1 And I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth. 2 And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth; and there came a foul and painful sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshiped his image. 3 And the second angel poured out his bowl upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea. 4 And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, O Lord, who are, and were, and shall be, because you have judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another from the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments. 8 And the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory. 10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, 11 and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. 12 And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of demons, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in Hebrew Armageddon. 17 And the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air; and a loud voice came from the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices and thunders and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as has not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell; and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
  • Rev 20:8-9 : 8 And will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for battle; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
