በዚ መዓልቲ ኣብ እዚ ቦታ ካብ ኣገልጋሎት ሳኦል ሰብ ሓደ ነበረ፣ በፊት እግዚኣብሔር ዝተያዘ። ስሙ ዶኤግ ነበረ፣ ኤዶማዊ፣ ከብት ሳኦል ቀዳማይ መራሒ ነበረ።

    8ዳዊት ንኣሂመሌክ እንታይ በለ፦ ኣብ እጅኻ ማእድ ወይ ሰይፍ የለ ዶ? ሰይፍናን መሳርሕታታናን ኣይኣመጽናን እዮም፣ እቲ ስራሕ ንጉስ ፈጥነት ይድልድል ነይሩ ስለዚ።

    10እቲ መዓልቲ ዳዊት ተነሲኡ ካብ ፍርሒ ሳኦል ሸረቀ ኣለዎ፣ ናብ ጋት ንጉስ ኣኪሽ ከይድ ነበረ።

    11ኣገልጋልት ኣኪሽ ንሰማዕታ ኣለዉ፦ እዚ ዳዊት ድዩ ንጉስ ናይ ምድሪ? ሰባት ምስ ይዘፍኡ ዝበሉ ‘ሳኦል ሽሕታት ኣታይ፣ ዳዊት ዓሰርተ ሽሕታት’ ኣይተዘፊኡን ነበር?

    10ዳዊት እንዲ በለ፦ ‘እግዚኣብሔር ኣምላኽ እስራኤል፣ ኣገልጋይካ ብትክክል ሰሚዖ ኣሎ ሳኦል ናብ ቄይላ ክመጽእ ከተማ ብክንደይ ምኽንያት ክድምስ እዩ እንዳ.’
