‘ሰባት ቄይላ ኣብ እጁ ክሰጡኒ ይግባእ? እንተ ኣገልጋይካ ሰሚዖ እንዳ ሳኦል ክወርድ ይግባእ? እግዚኣብሔር ኣምላኽ እስራኤል፣ ተለሊ ንኣገልጋይካ በለዎ।’ እግዚኣብሔር መለሰ፦ ‘ክወርድ ይግባእ.’

    4እዚ ዳዊት እግዚኣብሔር እንደ ገና ሓተተ። እግዚኣብሔር መለሰዎ እንዲ ኣለዎ፦ ‘ተነስእ፣ ናብ ቄይላ ንሕብ፤ እኔ ፍልስጥኤማን ኣብ እጅኻ ክሃብ እየ.’

    5እንተዛ ዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ናብ ቄይላ ከይዱ፣ ንፍልስጥኤማን ተዋጊዮም፣ ከብታቶም ኣካተሉ ኣመጹ፣ ብከቢድ መቅሰፍቲ ነቐሱኦም። እንተዛ ዳዊት ናይ ቄይላ ሕዝብ ኣንጽሕዎ ኣድሉዎም.
