ስለዚ ዳዊት እግዚኣብሔር ሓተተ እንዳ ኣለ፦ ‘ክሕዝ እወ እዞም ፍልስጥኤማን ክንቅስን እንግር?’ እግዚኣብሔር ንዳዊት መለሰዎ፦ ‘ሂው፣ ፍልስጥኤማን ንቅስን፣ ቄይላ ንሕልው.’

    5እንተዛ ዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ናብ ቄይላ ከይዱ፣ ንፍልስጥኤማን ተዋጊዮም፣ ከብታቶም ኣካተሉ ኣመጹ፣ ብከቢድ መቅሰፍቲ ነቐሱኦም። እንተዛ ዳዊት ናይ ቄይላ ሕዝብ ኣንጽሕዎ ኣድሉዎም.

    12ዳዊት እንዲ በለ፦ ‘ሰባት ቄይላ እኔን ሰባትይን ኣብ እጅ ሳኦል ክሰጡና ይግባእ?’ እግዚኣብሔር መለሰ፦ ‘እዮም ክሰጡካ.’

    13እዚ ዳዊትን ዝስዕብ ስድስተ ሚእቲ ዝነበሩ ሰባትኡን ተነስኡ ካብ ቄይላ ወጹ፣ ዝኽእሉ ቦታ ክኸዱ ከይዱ። ዳዊት ካብ ቄይላ ፈሪሑ እዩ እንዳ ሳኦል ተነግሮ ነበረ፤ ንምውራድ ድማ ተውዎ.
