እቲ መዓልቲ ፍልስጥማውያን ሰራዊታቶም ስለ ሰልፍ ንምዝጋሬ ተሰባሰቡ እስራኤል ምስ ይዋጉ። ኣኪሽ ለዳዊት እንተበለ፦ ብርግጽ ዕርግጠኛ ሆን፤ ኣንተን ሰባስካን ምስኣነ ናብ ሰልፍ ትወጽእ ትኽእል ኢኻ።

  • 1 ሳሙ 29:1-3 : 1 እዚ ፍልስጥዓማን ኩሉ ሠራዊታቶም ኣብ ኣፌቅ ተሰብስበው፤ እስራኤላውያን ደግሞ ኣብ ይዝራኤል ዘሎ ምንጭ ጎና ሰፈሩ። 2 ኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን ብመቶታትን ብሽሕታትን ይለፉ ነበሩ፤ ዳዊት ግን ሰባቱ ምስ ኣኪሽ ኣብ ጀርባ ሓይሊ ይለፉ ነበሩ። 3 ኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን እንዲ ብሉ፡ ‘እዚኦም እብራውያን ኣብዚ ምንባር ይግበሩ?’ ኣኪሽ ደጊም ለኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን ኣመለሰ፡ ‘እዚ እንተ ሳኦል ንጉስ እስራኤል ኣገልጋሊ ዳዊት ኣይኮነን? እዚ መዓልታት ወይ ዓመታት ምስኣነ እዩ ዝነበረ፤ ከመ መዓልቲ ናተይ ዝመጸ ክሳብ ሎሚ ክፉ ነገር ኣብ እሱ ኣይረኽብኩን።’

    3ኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን እንዲ ብሉ፡ ‘እዚኦም እብራውያን ኣብዚ ምንባር ይግበሩ?’ ኣኪሽ ደጊም ለኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን ኣመለሰ፡ ‘እዚ እንተ ሳኦል ንጉስ እስራኤል ኣገልጋሊ ዳዊት ኣይኮነን? እዚ መዓልታት ወይ ዓመታት ምስኣነ እዩ ዝነበረ፤ ከመ መዓልቲ ናተይ ዝመጸ ክሳብ ሎሚ ክፉ ነገር ኣብ እሱ ኣይረኽብኩን።’

    4ኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን ተቈጥቈጥዑ ብኣኪሽ፤ እንዲ ብሉለት፡ ‘እዚ ሰብ ንክመለስ ግበር፣ ናብ ቦታ ዝመደብካሉ ምስ ድሕሪኡ ክምለስ ከይንክዲ ከውን፤ ኣብ ጦርነት ምስና ኣይርከብናን፣ እንኳ ኣብ ጦር ተኸላእ ሎና ክህብ ይከኣል። ንመምህሩ ክምረስ ብምንታይ ይግባእዎ? ኣይኮነን ብራእሳት እዚኦም ሰባት?’

    7‘ስለዚ ሕጂ ተመለስ እና ብሰላም ኰፍ፣ ኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን ክቆልሱኻ ኣይግባእካን።’

    8ዳዊት ለኣኪሽ መለሰ እንተ ነገረው፡ ‘ግን እንታይ ገበርኩ? ክሳብ ሎሚ ምስኣኻ ዝነበርኩ ጊዜ ኣብ እኔ ምንታይ ጉድኣት ረኽበካ እንዳታገንዘብ፣ ስለ ምኽንያት ኣብ ጠላታት ጌታይ ንጉስ ምስ ክንዋጋ ኣይፈቀድኩም?’

    9ኣኪሽ መለሰ ለዳዊት እንተ ነገረው፡ ‘እወ፣ ብዓይነይ እንደ መልአኽ እግዚኣብሔር ጽቡቕ ኢካ ዝተረኸበ። ቢሆንም ኣለቃታት ፍልስጥዓማን “ምስና ናብ ጦርነት ኣይውጽእ” ብለው ኣለዉ።’

    10‘ስለዚ ንጽባሕ ቀድሞ ተነስካ ምስ ጌታኻ ዝኾኑ ኣገልጋሊ እዞም ምስኻ ዝመጹ፤ ንጽባሕ ቀድሞ እንተ ተነሱኩም ብርሃን እንተ ነበረ ፈሊዩ።’

    11እንዲ ዳዊትን ሰባቱን ማለዳ ቀድሞ ንምፍልይ ተነሱ፣ ናብ መሬት ፍልስጥዓማን ተመለሱ። ፍልስጥዓማን ደግሞ ናብ ይዝራኤል ወጹ።
