ዳዊት ግን ኣመለሰ፣ “ወንድማተይ፣ ከምዚ ኣይትግበሩን፤ እግዚኣብሔር ዝሃበና ነገር እዩ ዘለና፤ ንሕና ኣኽልና ኣድጎና፣ እቲ ብሓላፍና ዝመጸ ጭፍራ ንእጃና ሰጠና” ኢሉ።

    21ዳዊት ናብ እቲ ሁለት መቶ ሰባት እዚ ስለ ድካም ክትስለብ ዘይክእሉ ዝተዉኦም ኣብ ወኻር በሶር ዝቆሙ ተመለሰ። እነሱ ዳዊትን ሕዝቡን ለማግኘት ወጹ፤ ዳዊት ንሳቶም ቀረበ ሰላም ኣላታም።

    22እዚ ድማ ካብ ዳዊት ዘሎም ክፉ ሰባትን ወዲ ቤልያል ኣመለሱ፣ “እነዚ ኣብ እዚ ጉዕዞ ኣይመጹን ከምኡ ካብ ምርካብ ዝተመለሰ ምንም ኣይንሕብዎምን፤ እዋ ንእያ ሰብ ሚስቱን ወልዶቱን ብቻ ይወስድ ድሕሪ ይሂድ” ኢሎም።
