እቲ ሶስቱ ጀጋናት ከባቢ ፍልስጥናውያን ፈትሑን እየ ወርዱ፣ ካብ ጕድጓድ ማይ ቤተልሔም ዘለዎ ማይ ኣግበሩ ኣመጹለዎ ዳዊት፤ ነገር ግን ኣይጠገመውን እንግዲኛ ኣብ ፊት እግዚአብሔር ኣፈሰሰው።

    4እዚ ዳዊት እግዚኣብሔር እንደ ገና ሓተተ። እግዚኣብሔር መለሰዎ እንዲ ኣለዎ፦ ‘ተነስእ፣ ናብ ቄይላ ንሕብ፤ እኔ ፍልስጥኤማን ኣብ እጅኻ ክሃብ እየ.’

    5እንተዛ ዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ናብ ቄይላ ከይዱ፣ ንፍልስጥኤማን ተዋጊዮም፣ ከብታቶም ኣካተሉ ኣመጹ፣ ብከቢድ መቅሰፍቲ ነቐሱኦም። እንተዛ ዳዊት ናይ ቄይላ ሕዝብ ኣንጽሕዎ ኣድሉዎም.
