    5ዘሸከመ-መሳርሒው ሳኡል ዝሞተ ኣረዱ ከምኡውን ኣብ ሰይፉ ወድቖ ምስኡ ሞተ።

    6ሳኡልን ሶስቱ ወዲኡን ዘሸከመ-መሳርሒውን ሙሉእ ሰባትኡ ብሓደ መዓልቲ ሞቱ።

    7ኣብ ሓወኻ ሸለቆ ዝነበሩ ሰባት እስራኤልን፣ እንዲሕና ኣብ ሓወኻ ዮርዳኖስ ዝነበሩ እዮም ሰባትን፣ ሰባት እስራኤል እንዲ ሸሽጉ እንዳረኩ እና ሳኡልን ወዲኡን እንዳሞቱ ረኺቦም፣ ከተማታቶም ኣተዉ ሸሪሑ፤ ፍልስጥያማን መጹ ኣብኣቶም ተነብሩ።

    8ማለዳ ፍልስጥያማን ዝተቀተሉ ንምስረቅ ከመ መጹ፣ ሳኡልን ሶስቱ ወዲኡን ኣብ ተራራ ጊልቦዓ ወድቐዮም ረኺቦም።

    9ራእሱ ቈረጹ፣ መሳርሒው ኣወስዱ፣ እቲ ዜና ኣብ ቤት ጣዕዳቶምን ኣብ ሕዝባቶምን ንምርካብ መልእኽቲ ኣብ ዙሪያ ምድሪ ፍልስጥያማን ላኣኹ።

    10መሳርሒው ኣብ ቤት ኣስታሮት ኣቐምጡ፤ ዓካሉ ኣብ ግድግዳ ቤትሻን ሰቐቑ።

    11ዝነብሩ ኣብ ያቤስ-ገለዓድ ሰባት ፍልስጥያማን ሳኡል ዝገበሩ እንታይ ከም ሰሙ፣
