ጠባቂ ኣለዎ፣ «ዝንበለ ቀዳማይ ዝሮጽ ዘለዎ እዚ ተስማሚ እንተ ሆነ ዝሮጽ ዘለዎ ኣሂማዝ ወዲ ሳዶቅ ይመስልኒ» ብሎ። ንጉሱ ኣለዎ፣ «ጎይይ ሰብ እዩ፣ ጎይይ ዜና ይመጽእ» ብሎ።

    20ዮዓብ ግን ኣለዎ፣ «ሕጂ ዜና ኣትኣኸፍን፤ ካልእ መዓልቲ ክትኣኸፊ ትክክል ይሆን፤ ሕጂ ግን ዜና ኣትኣኸፍ እየ፣ ምኽንያቱ ወዲ ንጉስ ሞተ እዩ።»

    21ዮዓብ ንኩሺ ኣለዎ፣ «ሄድ ዝረኣይካዮ ነገር ለንጉስ ንግርዎ» ብሎ። ኩሺ ንዮዓብ ተስገደ ሮጸ።

    22ኣሂማዝ ወዲ ሳዶቅ ደጊም ንዮዓብ ኣለዎ፣ «እንኳ ምንታይ ዘይገባ እዩ ብሓሳብካ፣ እኔ ደጊም እሞ ክሮጽ ኣምር» ብሎ። ዮዓብ ኣለዎ፣ «ስለ ምንታይ ትሮጽ ወዲየ? ዜና ዝዞር የለካ።»

    23እሱ ግን ኣለዎ፣ «ኣብ ዚ እንኳ ክሮጽ ኣምር» ብሎ። እሱ ኣለዎ፣ «ሮጽ» ብሎ። ኣሂማዝ ኣብ መንገዲ ሜዳ ሮጸ ኩሺ በለጸ።

    24ዳዊት ብመካከል ክልተ መደብታት ነበረ ተቐመጠ። ጠባቂ ድማ ላዕሊ መደብ ኣብ ጣሕራ ቅጥር ወጽኦ ዓይኑ ኣነስኦ ርእዮ፣ እንተዘይኮነ ሓደ ሰብ ብብሓዱ እንዳ ሮጺ ርእዮ።

    25ጠባቂ ጮኸ ንንጉስ ነገረዮ። ንጉሱ ኣለዎ፣ «ብብሓዱ እንተ ኮይኑ ኣብ ኣፉ ዜና ኣለዎ» ብሎ። እሱ ብፍጥነት ቀረበ።

    26ጠባቂ ካልእ ሰብ ሮጺ ርእዮ፣ ጠባቂ ንጠባቂ መደብ ገሎ ኣለዎ፣ «ሓደ ካልእ ሰብ ብብሓዱ እንዳ ሮጺ ኣሎ» ብሎ። ንጉሱ ኣለዎ፣ «ደጊም ዜና ይብዛሕ» ብሎ።

    28ኣሂማዝ ጮኸ ንንጉስ ኣለዎ፣ «ሰላም እዩ!» ብሎ ኣብ መሬት ላዕለ ፊቱ ተወደቐን ኣለዎ፣ «ብረከት ይኣብል እግዚኣብሔር ኣምላኽካ፣ እቲ እጃቶም ንጌታይ ንንጉስ ዝነሱ ሰባት ሰገሮ» ብሎ።

    29ንጉሱ ኣለዎ፣ «እቲ ወዲ ኣብሴሎም ሰላም ኣለዎ?» ኣሂማዝ መለሰ፣ «ዮዓብ ኣገልጋይ ንጉስ ንንስኻ እንተ ላአነና እኔ ኣገልጋይካ ድማ፣ ዓቢ ውግዓት ረኣይና እዩ ነበር፣ ግን ምንታይ እዩ ኣይፈልጥኩን።»

    30ንጉሱ ኣለዎ፣ «ኣንሰኽ ሓሊፍ ኣብዚ ቆም» ብሎ። እሱ ሓሊፈ ቆመ።

    31ኩሺ መጻኡ፤ ኩሺ ኣለዎ፣ «ዜና ኣለ ጌታይ ንጉስ፤ ሕጂ እግዚኣብሔር ካብ ንስኻ ዝነሱ ኩሉ ዝነሱ ሰባት ኣመስረትካ ኣሎ» ብሎ።

    32ንጉሱ ንኩሺ ኣለዎ፣ «እቲ ወዲ ኣብሴሎም ሰላም ኣለዎ?» ኩሺ መለሰ፣ «ጠላፍታት ጌታይ ንንጉስ እንተዘሎም ንዚ ክጎድኡኻ ዝነሱ ኩሉ ዝነሱ ሰባት ከም እቲ ወዲ እዚ ይሁኑ» ብሎ።
