እኹልኩም ደቂ ነቢያትን ደቂ ኪዳን ዘገበረ እግዚኣብሔር ምስ ኣቦታትና ኢኹም፣ እዚ ንኣብርሃም እንታይ ብሎ ኢሉ፦ ‘በዘርካ ሕዝቢ ምድሪ ኩሉ ይባረክ እዩ።’

Ὑμεῖς ἐστε υἱοὶ τῶν προφητῶν, καὶ τῆς διαθήκης ἧς διέθετο ὁ Θεὸς πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας ἡμῶν, λέγων πρὸς Ἀβραάμ, Καὶ ἐν τῷ σπέρματί σου ἐνευλογηθήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ πατριαὶ τῆς γῆς.

• ዘፍጥ 49:1-9 : 1 ያዕቆብ ንወልዶ ጠራኦም እዮም፣ ተሰብስቡ እንተ ኾና ኣብ መወዳእታ ዕለታት ዝርከብኩም ነገር ንኽነግርኩም እየ በለ። 2 ተሰብስቡን ስሙን ልጆም ያዕቆብ፤ እስራኤል ኣቦርኹም ስምዑ። 3 ሮእቤን፥ ኢኻ ቀዳማይ ወለድየ፣ ክንዲ ኃይለይ እንተዘይ፣ መጀመርታ ብርቱዕነይ፤ በናይ ክብር ምርጫ፣ በናይ ኃይል ምርጫ። 4 እንተ ማይ ዘይቆመ እንበለ ምትዛዝ ኢኻ፤ ኣይትልዓእ ኢኻ። ምክንያቱ ኣቦኻ መኻን ወጻእካ፣ ኣዚ ኣርከስካ፤ እሱ ናተይ መኻን ወጻእ። 5 ስምዖንን ሌዊን ሓውራት እዮም፤ መሳርሕታት ጨናነት ኣብ መኖርያቶም ኣለዎም። 6 ነፍሴ ሆይ፥ ኣብ ምስጢርኦም ኣትብጽሒን፤ ክብሬ ሆይ፥ ኣብ ማእበላቶም ኣትስዕሪን፤ ምክንያቱ በርትዒኦም ሰብ ተቐቲሉ፣ ብኢያሕዋኦም ግድን ኣፈሩ። 7 ርጉም ይሁን ቁጽሪኦም፥ ምክንያቱ ዓራእ እዩ፤ መቕጣትኦምስ ጨናነት እዩ። ኣብ ያዕቆብ ኣፍራርርዎም፣ ኣብ እስራኤል ኣበትትርዎም። 8 ይሁዳ፥ ኢኻ ብሓዋትኻ ዝተመስገን ኢኻ፤ እድኻ ኣብ ቁንካ ጠላቕኻ ትሆን፤ ወልዶ ኣቦኻ በፊትካ ክሕብዩ ይሕብዩ። 9 ይሁዳ ወዲ ኣንበሳ እዩ፤ ካብ መዓዛ ዓራግ ወዲየ ተወፈአ፤ ተናዕበ ከም ኣንበሳ፣ ተሳፍረ ከም ዓባይ ኣንበሳ፤ መን ይነቕሎ? 10 በትር ካብ ይሁዳ ኣይፈፅምን፣ ኣዋጅ ሰጪስ ካብ መካን እግራቱ ኣይተሓልፍን እስከ ሺሎ ክመጽእ ድማ፤ ናቱ ሕዝብ ክምድብ ይሆን። 11 ዓንሺ ኣህያኡ ኣብ ወይና ኣርከበ፣ ዓንሺ ኣህያኡ ኣብ ምርጥ ወይና ኣርከበ፤ ልብስኡ ብወይን ሰነከ፣ ልብሱ ብደም ወይን ሰነከ። 12 ዓይኖቱ ብወይን ክሕሩሩ ይሆኑ፣ ስኒኡ ብወተት ክጻዑ ይሆኑ። 13 ዘቡሎን ኣብ መርበ ባሕሪ ይኖር እዩ፤ መርበ መርከብ ይሆን፤ ግድሪኡ ክሳብ ጺዶን ይድልድላ። 14 ይሳክር ከቢድ ኣህያ እዩ፥ በይኑ በኽልተ ጭነታት ተሰንብቦ ይምትፍ። 15 ምርፋዕ ጽቡቕ እዩ ረአየ፣ ምድር ምርኩዕ እያ ኣየና፤ ክንዲኡ ንምሸክም ኣነስከ፣ ኣሰራይ ናብ ግብሪ ሆነ። 16 ዳን እንደ ሓደ ካብ ነገድታት እስራኤል ሕዝቡ ይዳነ እዩ። 17 ዳን ኣብ መንገዲ እተስምዓ ክሆን ይኸውን፥ ኣብ በረኻ እተመርሕ እዩ፤ ስር ፈረስ ይነቅር፣ እንዲ ርእሲ ነሽኡ ወድቐ ይህሉ ኣብ ኋላ። 18 ጌታ ሆይ፥ መድኃኒትካ ተጸበእኩ። 19 ጋድ፥ ሓይል ሰራዊት ይድፈኦ ይደፍእዎ፤ ነገር ግን በመወዳእታ እሱ ይድፍእ። 20 ካብ ኣሴር ዳቦኡ ይስቱ፣ ምግባር ናይ ነገስቲ ይስጥ። 21 ናፍታሊ ዝተፈታ ዋርባ እዩ፤ ቃላት ጽቡቓት ይሃብ። 22 ዮሴፍ ዘይንስር ዛዕባ ዝርከብ ኣብ ምንጭ ማይ እዩ፤ ቅርኒኡ ግድን ላፈነ ይረፍሕ። 23 ኣበርክቶ ቀስት ብዙሕ ኣሓሚሙ፣ ተወጋዉ ወስኹሙ፣ ሓሙኦ። 24 ነገር ግን ቀስቱ ብኃይል ቆመ፣ ክንዶ እጆቱ ተጸናዩ ብእጆ እዙዛዝ ኣምላኽ ያዕቆብ፤ ካብዚ እዩ እረኛ እስራኤል፣ ድንጋይ እስራኤል። 25 እንተዘይ፣ ኣምላኽ ኣቦኻ ይሓግዝካ፣ ኣልሓዊ ይባርክካ ይሃብካ ብብሩክቲ ሰማይ ላዕሊ፣ ብብሩክቲ ጥልቀት ታሕቲ፣ ብብሩክቲ ጡብን ማሕጸንን። 26 ብሩክቲ ኣቦኻ ካብ ብሩክቲ መዓዳትየ ላዕሊ ኣበረቱ እስከ ዳር ዘለዉ ዘለዉ ገዳማት፤ እዛተ ኣብ ራስ ዮሴፍ ትኾና፣ ኣብ ጸኒሒ ራሱ እቲ ካብ ሓውኦም ዝተለየ ትኾና። 27 ብንያም እንተ ዕብየ ይነክን ይኸውን፤ ኣብ ጽባሕ መንካቡ ይብልይ፣ በለይቲ ምሽት እኩቢ ይከፍል። 28 እዚኣ ኩሉ ኣስርተ ክልተ ነገድ እስራኤል እዮም። እዚ እዩ ዝነገረላቶም ኣቦም ዘባረከላቶም፤ እያእያ እንተ ብርኪ እኳ ባረከላቶም። 29 ከም ዝኸውን ኣቕረበሎም እዮም በለኦም፥ እኔ ናብ ሕዝቤ ክኣኽል እየ፤ ምስ ኣባተይ ቀብረውኒ ኣብ ማኅሌት ዘሎ በጽሓ ኣብ ሜዳ ኤፍሮን ኬቲያዊ። 30 ኣብ ማኅሌት ዘሎ በጽሓ ማክፔላ፣ ቅድሚ ማምሬ ኣብ ምድሪ ከነዓን፣ ኣብርሃም ካብ ኤፍሮን ኬቲያዊ በጽሓ እንደ መቃብር መዓልቲ ዝተገዘአ። 31 በዚኣ ኣብርሃምን ሚስቶ ሣራን ቀብሮም፤ በዚኣ ኢስሓቅን ሚስቶ ሪብቃን ቀብሮም፤ እዚኣ እኔ ልያን ቀብረኣ። 32 ግዢ ዚ ሜዳን በዚ ዘሎ ማኅሌትን ካብ ወልዶም ኬት ነይሩ። 33 ያዕቆብ ልጆኡ ምእዋና ኣጨረሰ ድማ፣ እግራቱን ኣብ መኻኑ ኣስገበረ፣ ነፍሱ ኣረከበ፣ ናብ ሕዝቡ ተኣካበ።
