ንግስቲ ኣስቴር መለሰት ኣለት፡ እንተ ኣብ ፊትካ ሞገስ ረኽበኒ፣ እና እንተ ደሊ ንጉስ፣ ብለመናይ ሕይወተይ ይሃብለይ፣ ብምኞተይ ሕዝበይ ይሃብለይ።

    6እንታይ ኣትኽእል እየ ክፉ ዝመጽእ ብሕዝበይ ክርእየ? ወይ ጥፋት ዘመድየ ክርእየ እንታይ ኣትኽእል እየ?

    7እዚኣ ንጉስ ኣሐስዌሮስ ንኣስተር ንግስቲን ንሞርድካይ ይሁዳዊ ኣለ፦ ሂሩ ገዛ ሓማን ንኣስተር ሃበኩ፣ እሱ ድማ እጁ ብላዕሊ ይሁዳውያን ኣተኻተተ ምኽንያት ኣብ መመድ ተሰቐለዮ እዩ።

    7ንጉስ ካብ ፍርሒ ወይን ብመቕጻእ ተነሲኡ ኣብ ጀርዲን ቤት መንግሥቲ ወዲ። ሓማን ደጊሙ ሕይወቱ ንንግስቲ ኣስቴር ንምለመን ቆመ፣ ምክንያቱ ናብ ንሱ ካብ ንጉስ ክፉ ነገር ብዕጽፉ ተወሰነ እዩ እንዳየ ስለ ነበረ።

    8ንጉስ ካብ ጀርዲን ቤት መንግሥቲ መለሰ ኣብ ስፍራ ፍርሒ ወይን፤ ሓማን ኣብ ኣልጋ ዘላት ኣስቴር ተወድቖ ነበረ። ንጉስ ኣለ፡ ኣብ ቤቴ ብዓይነይ ንግስቲ ክዝልዎ ዶ ይፈልጥ? ቃል ካብ ኣፉ ንጉስ እንዳወጸ ፈጺሙ ፊቱ ሓማን ኣሸፈኑ።
