“እንተዘብል እግዚኣብሔር ኣምላኽ እስራኤል፡ አርእዩ፣ ኣብ እጃትኩም ዘለዉ ብምውጋእ ንንጉሥ ባቢሎንን ካልድያውያንን ዝተኸልዩ መሳርሒ ጦር ክመልሰልኩም ኣሎኹ፤ እነዚ ካልድያውያን ካብ ቅጥር ወጻእ ዝጨነቁኩም ናብ መካነ እዚ ከተማ ክኣርኬሎም ኣሎኹ።

    5“ደጊም እየ ንዚ ከተማ ዘሎ ኩሉ ኃይልኡን፣ ዕድል ስራሕኡ ኩሉን፣ ንብረት ዋጋ ዝበለ ኩሉን፣ መዝገብ ግንዛብ ንጉሳት ይሁዳ ኣብ ኢድ ጠላፋቶም እሃብ እየ፤ እነዚ ይብርቱዎ፣ ይወስዱዎ፣ ንባቢሎን ይምልከቱዎ።”
