ክፋል ምድር ንነገድ ማናሴ እንዲሁ ተመድቦ ነበረ፤ ማናሴ ኵሉዕ ወልድ ዮሴፍ ነበረ። በተለይ ንማኪር ኵሉዕ ወልድ ማናሴ፣ ኣቦ ገለዓድ፤ ስብሓቱ ሰብ ጦር ነበረ ስለዚ ገለዓድን ባሳንን ወረሰ።

    5እንዲሁ ኣስርተ ክፋላት ንማናሴ ወድእቲ መሬት ገለዓድን ባሳንን ካብ ዮርዳኖስ ሓሸይ ዝርከቡ ተሰጡ።

    6ምክንያቱ ኣላቶ ማናሴ ኣብ መካነ ደቂ ወንድ ውርሲ ነበራቶም፤ ቀሪቶም ደቂ ወንድ ማናሴ መሬት ገለዓድ ወረሱ።

    7ድንበር ማናሴ ካብ ኣሰር ክሳብ ሚክሜታ ፊት ሲኬም ዝርከብ ነበረ፤ ድንበሩ በቀንዲ ጎን ክሳብ ነዋሪ ዔን-ታፑዓህ ተስዕረ።

    8መሬት ታፑዓህ ማናሴ ነበረዎ፤ ግን ታፑዓህ ዘለዎ ከተማ ኣብ ድንበር ማናሴ ዝርከብ ለደቂ ኤፍሬም ነበረ።

    17ኢያሱ ለቤተ ዮሴፍ፣ ኤፍሬምን ማናሴን ሲብል ኣለዎ፦ “ብዙሕ ኢኹምን፣ ኃይል ዘለኹም ኢኹም፤ ሓደ ክፋል ብሓደ ብብቃዕ ኣይኮነኩምን።”
