    19“አሁን ከድምጼ ስማ፤ መምክር እሰጥሃለሁ እግዚአብሔርም ከአንተ ጋር ይሁን፤ ሕዝቡን በእግዚአብሔር ፊት የሚወክል አንተ ሁን፤ ጉዳዮቻቸውን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ታመጣ።”

    25ሙሴም ከእስራኤል ሁሉ ውስጥ ብቃት ያላቸውን ሰዎች መረጠ፤ ሕዝቡ ላይም አለቆች አደረጋቸው፤ የሺህ አለቆች፣ የመቶ አለቆች፣ የአምሳ አለቆችና የአሥር አለቆች አደረጋቸው።

    26እነርሱም በየጊዜው ሕዝቡን ይፍርዱ ነበር፤ ከባድ ጉዳዮችን ወደ ሙሴ ያመጡ ነበር፤ ነገር ግን እያንዳንዱን ትንሽ ጉዳይ ራሳቸው ይፈርዱ ነበር።

    27ከዚያም ሙሴ ማማቱን እንዲሄድ አሰናበተው፤ እርሱም ወደ የራሱ ምድር መንገዱን ሄደ።

    8ሙሴም ማማቱን ስለ እስራኤል ምክንያት እግዚአብሔር ለፈርዖንና ለግብፃውያን ያደረገውን ሁሉ፣ በመንገድ ላይ የደረሰባቸውን መከራ ሁሉ፣ እንዲሁም እግዚአብሔር እንዴት እንዳዳናቸው ሁሉ ነገረው።

    9ኢትሮም እግዚአብሔር ለእስራኤል ያደረገው ቸርነት ሁሉ ስለ ሰማ ደሰተ፤ ከግብፃውያን እጅ እንዳዳናቸውም ደስ አለው።

    10ኢትሮም እንዲህ አለ፦ “ከግብፃውያን እጅና ከፈርዖን እጅ ያዳናችሁ፣ ሕዝቡንም ከግብፃውያን እጅ በታች ያዳነ እግዚአብሔር የተባረከ ይሁን።”
