    5ከዚያም ሳምሶን ከአባቱና ከእናቱ ጋር ወደ ቲምናት ወረዱ፤ በመንገዳቸው የቲምናት ወይን መስክን ተደርሰው ሲሄዱ እነሆ የታናሽ አንበሳ በእርሱ ላይ ጮኸ።

    6የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ በኀይል መጣበት፤ አንበሳውንም እንደ የፍየል ጠቦት በሚቈርስ መልኩ አስቀደደው፤ በእጁም ምንም ነገር አልነበረውም፤ ነገር ግን ለአባቱም ለእናቱም ያደረገውን አላሳወቀም።

    7ወደ ታች ወረደ ከሴቲቱም ጋር ተነጋገረ፤ እርሷም ሳምሶንን እጅግ አማኘችው።

    8ከጊዜ በኋላ ለማግባት ተመለሰ፤ ወደ ጎንም ዘወረ የአንበሳውን አካል ቅሪት ለማየት፤ እነሆም በዚያ ውስጥ ብዙ ንብና ማር ነበሩ።

    17ግብዣቸው ሲካሄድ ሰባቱን ቀናት ሁሉ በፊቱ አለቀሰች፤ ሰባተኛው ቀን ግን በጣም ከበደችበት ምክንያት ነገራት፤ እርሷም ምሥጢሩን ለሕዝቧ ልጆች ነገረች።

    18ሰባተኛው ቀን ፀሐይ ሳይገባ ከተማው ሰዎች እንዲህ አሉት፦ ከማር ጣፋጭ ምን ነው? ከአንበሳ ብርቱ ምን ነው? እርሱም እንዲህ አላቸው፦ ላምቴን ካልከረማችሁ ኖሮ ምሥጢሬን አታገኙም ነበር።

    19የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ መጣበት፤ ወደ አስቀሎን ወረደ፥ ከእነርሱም ሠላሳ ሰዎችን ገደለ፥ ንብረታቸውን ነጠቀ፥ ምሥጢሩን ያበራሉትንም ለእነርሱ የልብስ ለውጦችን ሰጣቸው። ቍጡም ነደደበት፥ ወደ አባቱም ቤት ወጣ።

    26የመለሰው ነቢይ ከመንገድ መመለሱን ሲሰማ፥ እንዲህ አለ፦ ይህ ሰው የእግዚአብሔር ሰው ነው፤ የእግዚአብሔር ቃልን አልታዘዘም፤ ስለዚህ የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እንዳለው እግዚአብሔር ለአንበሳ አሳልፎ ሰጥቶት, እርሱም አነቀሰውና ገድሎታል።
