The people of the land took Jehoahaz, the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's place in Jerusalem.

His mother’s name was Zebidah daughter of Pedaiah; she was from Rumah. 37 He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, just as his ancestors had done.
