I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it. 37 This is what the Lord GOD says: I will allow the house of Israel to ask me to do this for them: I will increase their people like a flock. 38 Like the flocks of sacrifices, like the flocks in Jerusalem during its appointed festivals, so the ruined cities will be filled with flocks of people. He also repaired the wall of the Pool of Shelah near the King’s Garden, as far as the steps that descend from the City of David. 16 Next to him, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of half the district of Beth-Zur, made repairs as far as the tombs of David, and to the artificial pool, and to the House of the Mighty.
