The young women saw her and called her blessed; the queens and concubines praised her. 10 Who is this who looks down like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awe-inspiring as an army with banners?

Your belly is a heap of wheat encircled by lilies. 4 Your breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle. 5 Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are like the pools in Heshbon by the gate of Bath-rabbim. The king is captivated by its tresses. 7 How beautiful and pleasant you are, O love, with your delights! 8 Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like its clusters. 9 I said, 'I will climb the palm tree and take hold of its branches.' Let your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the fragrance of your breath like apples. 10 Your mouth is like the finest wine, flowing smoothly for my beloved, gliding over the lips of those who are asleep. 11 I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me. 12 Come, my beloved, let us go out into the fields; let us lodge in the villages. 13 Let us rise early and go to the vineyards to see if the vines have budded, if their blossoms have opened, and if the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love.

  • Heb 11:4-9 : 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God testifying about his gifts; and through faith, even though he is dead, he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death, and he was not found, because God took him up. For before he was taken up, he was commended as one who had pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverent fear prepared an ark for the salvation of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was to receive as an inheritance, and he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was waiting for the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered Him faithful who had promised. 12 And so from one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore. 13 All these people died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them from afar and been persuaded of them, and having embraced them, they openly declared that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He who had received the promises was ready to offer his only son, 18 even though it was said to him, 'Through Isaac your descendants will be named.' 19 Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and in a sense, he did receive Isaac back from death as a symbol. 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning the future. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, nearing the end of his life, spoke of the exodus of the Israelites and gave instructions concerning his bones. 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden by his parents for three months, because they saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were not afraid of the king's order. 24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded the reproach for the sake of Christ as greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking forward to the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king, for he persevered as though seeing the one who is invisible. 28 By faith he observed the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell after the people marched around them for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had welcomed the spies in peace. 32 And what more shall I say? Time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, gained strength out of weakness, became mighty in battle, and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36 Still others experienced mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawed in two, and they were killed with the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted, and mistreated. 38 The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts, and on mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. 39 And all of these, though they were commended for their faith, did not receive what was promised. 40 Since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.
