David inquired of God, saying, "Should I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?" The LORD replied, "Go up, and I will deliver them into your hand."

48When the Philistine arose and came forward to meet David, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.
49David reached into his bag, took out a stone, slung it, and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown to the ground.
50So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone. Without a sword in his hand, he struck down the Philistine and killed him.
11So they went up to Baal-perazim, and there David defeated the Philistines. He said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like a flood of water." Therefore, the place was named Baal-perazim.
1In those days, the Philistines gathered their armies to wage war against Israel, and Achish said to David, "You surely know that you and your men will go out with me in the army."
23When David inquired of the LORD, He said, "Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the balsam trees.

25So David did as the LORD commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Geba to Gezer.

11Will the leaders of Keilah hand me over to him? Will Saul come down as your servant has heard? LORD, God of Israel, please tell your servant." And the LORD answered, "He will come down."
12Then David said, 'Will the leaders of Keilah hand me and my men over to Saul?' The LORD replied, 'They will hand you over.'
8David inquired of the Lord, saying, "Should I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?" The Lord answered, "Pursue them, for you will certainly overtake them and rescue the captives."
37Saul inquired of God, 'Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will you deliver them into the hand of Israel?' But He did not answer him that day.
32David said to Saul, 'Let no one lose heart because of this Philistine. Your servant will go and fight him.'
18Now do it! For the Lord has promised David, 'By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel from the Philistines and from all their enemies.’'

8War broke out again. David went out to fight the Philistines and struck them with a great slaughter, causing them to flee before him.
