6 All these men were under their father's direction for the music in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, lyres, and harps for the service of the house of God. They were under the direction of the king, Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 The number of them, along with their relatives, all trained and skilled in music for the LORD, was 288.

22 Chenaniah, the leader of the Levites in music, directed the music because he was skilled.
15 The singers, the sons of Asaph, were at their stations as commanded by David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer. The gatekeepers were stationed at each gate and did not leave their posts, since their fellow Levites prepared their portions for them.
10 When the builders laid the foundation of the LORD’s temple, the priests, dressed in their robes and holding trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, took their places to praise the LORD as David king of Israel had instructed.
