    21They helped David against raiding bands, for they were all valiant warriors and became leaders in the army.

    22Every day men came to David to help him, until he had a great army, like the army of God.

    23These are the numbers of men equipped for war who came to David at Hebron to turn Saul’s kingdom over to him, as the LORD had spoken.
