    2Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites, each man according to his service—priests and Levites alike—for burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, to serve, to give thanks, and to sing praises at the gates of the Lord’s camp.

    3The king contributed from his own possessions for the burnt offerings: the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, new moons, and appointed festivals, as written in the Law of the Lord.

    4He also commanded the people living in Jerusalem to give the portion due to the priests and Levites so that they could devote themselves fully to the Law of the Lord.

    17They began the consecration on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month, they reached the vestibule of the LORD. For eight days, they consecrated the house of the LORD, and on the sixteenth day of the first month, they completed their work.

    18Then they went to King Hezekiah and said, 'We have purified the entire house of the LORD, the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the table for the bread of the Presence with all its utensils.'

    19Moreover, all the utensils that King Ahaz discarded during his reign in his unfaithfulness, we have prepared and consecrated, and they are now before the altar of the LORD.

    30King Hezekiah and the officials commanded the Levites to praise the LORD with the words of David and Asaph the seer. They sang praises with joy and bowed down in worship.

    31Then Hezekiah said, 'Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the house of the LORD.' So the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all who were willing brought burnt offerings.

    10Jehoiada the priest took a chest, bored a hole in its lid, and placed it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the temple of the LORD. The priests guarding the threshold deposited into it all the money brought to the temple of the LORD.

    11Whenever they saw there was a lot of money in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest would come, count the money that had been brought to the temple of the LORD, and put it into bags.
