12 They would give the prepared money to the workers appointed to oversee the repairs to the temple of the LORD. They used it to pay the carpenters and builders working on the temple of the LORD,
4 “Go to Hilkiah the high priest, so that he may count the silver brought into the house of the LORD, which the doorkeepers have collected from the people.
5 Let it be given to the hands of the workmen who are appointed over the house of the LORD, and they shall use it to pay the workers engaged in the repairs of the house—
6 the carpenters, builders, and masons. It shall also be used to buy timber and quarried stone for repairing the house.
7 But no accounting shall be demanded from the workers for the silver that is given to them, for they are acting faithfully.
14 However, no silver basins, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, or any gold or silver vessels were made from the money brought to the temple of the LORD.
15 Instead, they gave the money to the workers, who used it to repair the temple of the LORD.
16 No accounting was required from the men who handled the money given to the workers, because they acted with integrity.

9 They went to Hilkiah the high priest and gave him the money that had been brought to the house of God, which the Levites, the gatekeepers, had collected from Manasseh, Ephraim, and the remnant of Israel, as well as all Judah, Benjamin, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10 All the officials and all the people rejoiced and brought their contributions, dropping them into the chest until it was full.
11 Whenever the chest was brought to the king's steward by the Levites, and they saw there was a large amount of money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came, emptied the chest, and returned it to its place. They did this day after day and collected a great amount of money.
12 The king and Jehoiada gave the money to those who carried out the work of the Lord's temple. They hired stonemasons and carpenters to restore the temple and craftsmen to work with iron and bronze to repair the house of the Lord.
13 The workers diligently carried out their tasks, and the restoration of the temple made steady progress under their hands. They rebuilt the house of God according to its original design and strengthened it.
9 Shaphan the scribe then went to the king and reported to him, saying, “Your servants have removed the silver that was found in the house and have handed it over to those who oversee the work on the house of the LORD.”

30 So the priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver, gold, and vessels to bring them to Jerusalem, to the house of our God.
