7But no accounting shall be demanded from the workers for the silver that is given to them, for they are acting faithfully.
8Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the LORD.” Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, who read it.
9Shaphan the scribe then went to the king and reported to him, saying, “Your servants have removed the silver that was found in the house and have handed it over to those who oversee the work on the house of the LORD.”
10Shaphan the scribe also told the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it aloud to the king.
11When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his clothes.
12Then the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Achbor son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah, the king’s servant, saying,
13Go and inquire of the LORD for me, for the people, and for all of Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the LORD’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors did not obey the words of this book by doing everything written concerning us.
9They went to Hilkiah the high priest and gave him the money that had been brought to the house of God, which the Levites, the gatekeepers, had collected from Manasseh, Ephraim, and the remnant of Israel, as well as all Judah, Benjamin, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10They gave it into the hands of the supervisors of the work being done on the house of the LORD, who then gave it to the workmen repairing and restoring the temple.
9The priests agreed not to collect money from the people nor to handle the repairs of the temple themselves.
10Jehoiada the priest took a chest, bored a hole in its lid, and placed it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the temple of the LORD. The priests guarding the threshold deposited into it all the money brought to the temple of the LORD.
11Whenever they saw there was a lot of money in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest would come, count the money that had been brought to the temple of the LORD, and put it into bags.
3In the eighteenth year of King Josiah's reign, the king sent Shaphan, son of Azaliah and grandson of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, saying,
4“Go to Hilkiah the high priest, so that he may count the silver brought into the house of the LORD, which the doorkeepers have collected from the people.
5Let it be given to the hands of the workmen who are appointed over the house of the LORD, and they shall use it to pay the workers engaged in the repairs of the house—
11Whenever the chest was brought to the king's steward by the Levites, and they saw there was a large amount of money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came, emptied the chest, and returned it to its place. They did this day after day and collected a great amount of money.
4However, the high places were not removed; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
8At the king's order, they made a chest and placed it outside at the gate of the house of the Lord.
9A proclamation was issued throughout Judah and Jerusalem to bring to the Lord the tax Moses, the servant of God, had imposed on Israel in the wilderness.
14However, no silver basins, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, or any gold or silver vessels were made from the money brought to the temple of the LORD.
30The king went up to the house of the LORD with all the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests, the Levites, and all the people, from the greatest to the least. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant that had been found in the house of the LORD.
9So Moses wrote down this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel.
1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
2This shall be the law for the person with a skin disease on the day of their cleansing: They shall be brought to the priest.
16No accounting was required from the men who handled the money given to the workers, because they acted with integrity.

15She said to them, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Say to the man who sent you to me,

16The priests entered the inner part of the house of the LORD to cleanse it. They brought out all the unclean things they found in the temple of the LORD and carried them to the courtyard of the house of the LORD. The Levites then took them and carried them out to the Kidron Valley.
1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
15So Hezekiah gave all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD and in the treasuries of the king's house.
14So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves in order to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
4He also removed the high places and the incense altars from all the cities of Judah, and the kingdom was at peace under him.
