    11 Whenever they saw there was a lot of money in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest would come, count the money that had been brought to the temple of the LORD, and put it into bags.

    12 They would give the prepared money to the workers appointed to oversee the repairs to the temple of the LORD. They used it to pay the carpenters and builders working on the temple of the LORD,

    13 the masons and stonecutters, and to purchase timber and cut stone for repairing the damage to the temple of the LORD, as well as to cover all other costs related to the temple repairs.

    14 However, no silver basins, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, or any gold or silver vessels were made from the money brought to the temple of the LORD.

    15 Instead, they gave the money to the workers, who used it to repair the temple of the LORD.
