11 Therefore, this is what the LORD says: ‘I am bringing disaster upon them from which they cannot escape. Even though they will cry out to me, I will not listen to them.’
17 But your eyes and heart are set only on your dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood, and on oppression and violence.
2 For the household idols speak deceit, and the diviners see false visions. They tell deceitful dreams and offer empty comfort. Therefore, the people wander like sheep, oppressed because they have no shepherd.
