  • 7'They trample on the dust of the earth on the heads of the poor and obstruct the way of the afflicted. A man and his father go to the same girl, so that they profane My holy name.'

  • 4Therefore, the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked hem in the righteous, so justice comes out distorted.

  • 20Declare this to the house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah, saying:

  • 11To the house of the king of Judah: Hear the word of the LORD.

  • 16You have followed the statutes of Omri and all the practices of the house of Ahab; you have walked in their counsels. Therefore, I will make you a desolation, and your inhabitants an object of scorn; you will bear the reproach of My people.

  • 3'I will cut off the ruler from its midst and kill all its officials with him,' declares the LORD.
