14 Then he said, 'The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know His will, to see the Righteous One, and to hear words from His mouth.
15 For you will be His witness to all people of what you have seen and heard.
16 And now, why delay? Get up, be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.

17 But to prevent this from spreading any further among the people, let us warn them not to speak to anyone in this name again.
18 So they called them and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.

19 He said, 'Give me this authority too, so that everyone I lay my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.'
