And they went up into heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched them. 13 At that very hour, there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe has passed; look, the third woe is coming soon. 15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever." 16 The twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, "We give thanks to You, Lord God Almighty, the One who is, and who was, and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign." 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come. They will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark bearing its name." 12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to faith in Jesus. 13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them." 14 Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a Son of Man, with a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. 15 Another angel came out of the temple, calling in a loud voice to the one who was seated on the cloud, "Swing your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe." 16 So the one seated on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested. 17 Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 Still another angel, who had authority over the fire, came out from the altar and called with a loud voice to the one holding the sharp sickle, "Swing your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth's vine, because its grapes are ripe." 19 So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and gathered its grapes, and he threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. 20 They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

He had a name written that no one knows except Himself. 13 He was clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords. 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying high overhead: 'Come, gather for the great supper of God,' 18 'that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of generals, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.' 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and His army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the signs on his behalf. By these signs he had deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur. 21 The rest were killed by the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. 11 Then I saw a great white throne and the one seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them. Each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
