This will be a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 8 When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, whether to fulfill a vow or as a peace offering to the Lord, 9 you shall present with the young bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. 10 You shall also offer half a hin of wine as a drink offering. It will be an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 11 This is how it will be done for each bull, each ram, each lamb, or goat. 12 Do these instructions according to the number of animals you prepare—one for each. 13 Every native-born Israelite must do these things in this prescribed way when presenting an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 14 When a foreigner resides with you or someone living among you throughout your generations, and they want to present a fire offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord, they must do as you do. 15 The same law applies to the congregation and the foreigner residing among you. It is a perpetual statute for your future generations. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord. 16 The same instructions and the same rulings will apply for both you and the foreigner residing with you. 17 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 18 Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When you come into the land to which I am bringing you, 19 and you eat the bread of the land, you shall present an offering to the Lord. 20 You must bring the first portion of your dough as an offering to the Lord, like the contribution from the threshing floor, so you shall offer it. 21 From the first of your dough, you shall give a contribution to the Lord for all your generations. 22 If you unintentionally fail to follow any of these commands that the Lord has instructed to Moses— 23 everything the Lord has commanded you through Moses, from the day the Lord commanded them onward, throughout your generations— 24 then if this occurs unintentionally and it was hidden from the community's view, the entire community shall present a young bull as a burnt offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord, along with its grain offering, drink offering, and a male goat as a sin offering. 25 The priest shall make atonement for the whole community of the Israelites, and they will be forgiven because it was unintentional. They shall bring their offering, a fire offering to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord for their sin of ignorance. 26 The entire community of the Israelites and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people sinned unintentionally. 27 If a single person sins unintentionally, they must present a one-year-old female goat as a sin offering. 28 The priest will make atonement before the Lord for the person who sinned unintentionally. When atonement is made, they will be forgiven. 29 The same law applies to both the native-born Israelites and the foreigner who lives among them for anyone who sins unintentionally. 30 But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or a foreigner, is blaspheming the Lord and must be cut off from their people. 31 Because they have despised the word of the Lord and broken His commandment, they must be cut off completely. Their guilt remains on them. 32 While the Israelites were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses, Aaron, and the whole assembly. 34 They kept him in custody because it had not yet been made clear what should be done to him. 35 The Lord said to Moses, 'The man must be put to death. The whole assembly is to stone him outside the camp.' 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 37 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 38 Speak to the Israelites and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments for all their generations, and to put a blue cord on each tassel. 39 These tassels will serve as a reminder. When you see them, you will remember all the commandments of the Lord and obey them. Then in the morning, return to your tents. 8 For six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the Lord your God. You must not do any work. 9 Count seven weeks from the time you begin to harvest the grain with the sickle. 10 Celebrate the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. 11 Rejoice before the Lord your God—you, your son and daughter, your male and female servants, the Levite in your towns, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow living among you, in the place the Lord your God chooses to establish His name. 12 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt, and carefully follow these decrees. 13 Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce from your threshing floor and winepress. 14 Be joyful at your festival—you, your son and daughter, your male and female servants, the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who live in your towns. 15 For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete. 16 Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord your God at the place He will choose: during the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one is to appear before the Lord empty-handed. 17 Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you. 18 Appoint judges and officials for each of your tribes in every town the Lord your God is giving you, and they shall judge the people fairly. 19 Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. 20 Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you. 21 You shall not plant for yourself an Asherah pole of any tree beside the altar of the Lord your God that you will set up for yourself. 22 And you shall not set up for yourself a sacred pillar, which the Lord your God hates.
