12The angel said, 'Do not lay a hand on the boy. Do not harm him in any way, for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.'
18So Abram moved his tent and went to live by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron. There he built an altar to the LORD.
9Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
1After these events, God tested Abraham and said to him, 'Abraham!' And he replied, 'Here I am.'
2Then God said, 'Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.'
8Abraham breathed his last and died at a ripe old age, an old man full of years, and he was gathered to his people.
4So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.
