1 After these events, God tested Abraham and said to him, 'Abraham!' And he replied, 'Here I am.'

12 The angel said, 'Do not lay a hand on the boy. Do not harm him in any way, for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.'
13 Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket. So he went and took the ram, and he offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son.
14 And Abraham named that place 'The LORD Will Provide,' as it is said to this day, 'On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.'
15 Then the angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time from heaven,
