8 From there, Abram moved on to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord.
9 Then Abram set out and continued traveling toward the Negev.
7 And He said to him, "I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess."
8 But Abram said, "Lord GOD, how can I know that I will possess it?"
17 Arise, walk through the land, its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.
18 So Abram moved his tent and went to live by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron. There he built an altar to the LORD.

13 I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed a pillar and made a vow to me. Now leave this land immediately and return to the land of your birth.'
3 But I took your ancestor Abraham from beyond the Euphrates River, led him throughout the land of Canaan, and gave him many descendants. I gave him Isaac.
7 You are the LORD God, who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and gave him the name Abraham.
9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you go to the left, I will go to the right; if you go to the right, I will go to the left."
1 The LORD said to Moses, 'Go up from here, you and the people you brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was to receive as an inheritance, and he went out, not knowing where he was going.
13 And there was the Lord standing above it, and He said, 'I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. The land on which you are lying, I will give to you and to your descendants.'
1 After these events, God tested Abraham and said to him, 'Abraham!' And he replied, 'Here I am.'
2 Then God said, 'Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.'
5 No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you the father of many nations.
6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations come from you, and kings will be among your descendants.
4 May he give to you and your descendants with you the blessing of Abraham, that you may take possession of the land where you now live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.
12 The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to you, and I will also give it to your descendants after you.
1 Abram went up from Egypt, he, his wife, all that belonged to him, and Lot with him, toward the Negev.
18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and through him all nations of the earth will be blessed.
2 I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will greatly multiply you.
