21But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.

10God said to him, "Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel." So He named him Israel.

18And through your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.'
17As it is written: 'I have made you a father of many nations.' He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.
3Stay in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. For I will give all these lands to you and your descendants and will fulfill the oath I swore to Abraham your father.
4I will make your offspring as numerous as the stars of the sky and give them all these lands, and through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.
5He took him outside and said, "Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you are able to count them." Then He added, "So will your descendants be."
18even though it was said to him, 'Through Isaac your descendants will be named.'
2Look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave birth to you. When I called him, he was one person, and I blessed him and made him many.
3But I took your ancestor Abraham from beyond the Euphrates River, led him throughout the land of Canaan, and gave him many descendants. I gave him Isaac.
17Arise, walk through the land, its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.

4May he give to you and your descendants with you the blessing of Abraham, that you may take possession of the land where you now live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.
