5Then Sarai said to Abram, "The wrong done to me is your fault. I gave my maidservant into your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, I am despised in her eyes. May the LORD judge between you and me."
6Abram said to Sarai, "Your maidservant is in your hands; do with her whatever you think is best." Then Sarai mistreated Hagar, and she fled from her presence.
15Hagar bore a son to Abram, and Abram named the son whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
12The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to you, and I will also give it to your descendants after you.
10And she said to Abraham, 'Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.'
4"As for Me, this is My covenant with you: You will be the father of a multitude of nations.
5No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you the father of many nations.
6I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations come from you, and kings will be among your descendants.
17Arise, walk through the land, its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.
21But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.
16Now to Abraham the promises were spoken, and to his seed. It does not say, 'and to seeds,' as if referring to many, but, 'and to your seed,' meaning one, who is Christ.
16and said, 'By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
7Nor because they are Abraham’s descendants are they all his children. On the contrary, 'Through Isaac your offspring will be reckoned.'
1The Lord said to Abram, "Go forth from your land, your birthplace, and your father's household to the land that I will show you."
15Then God said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah.
16I will bless her and surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will become the mother of nations; kings of peoples will descend from her.
18And through your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.'
4May he give to you and your descendants with you the blessing of Abraham, that you may take possession of the land where you now live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.
18On that day, the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River—
2Abraham said to his servant, the eldest in his household who managed all he owned, "Please, place your hand under my thigh.

6Abraham said to him, "Make sure that you do not take my son back there.
