23Now swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me, my children, or my descendants. Show to me and the land where you have lived the same kindness I have shown to you.

3But I took your ancestor Abraham from beyond the Euphrates River, led him throughout the land of Canaan, and gave him many descendants. I gave him Isaac.
23On that very day, Abraham took his son Ishmael and all those born in his household or bought with his money—every male among the members of Abraham’s household—and circumcised them, as God had told him.
24Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
66Then the servant recounted to Isaac everything he had done.

43see, I am standing beside this spring. If a young woman comes out to draw water and I say to her, "Please give me a little water from your jar to drink,"
4May he give to you and your descendants with you the blessing of Abraham, that you may take possession of the land where you now live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.
16and said, 'By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
3Stay in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. For I will give all these lands to you and your descendants and will fulfill the oath I swore to Abraham your father.
1After these events, God tested Abraham and said to him, 'Abraham!' And he replied, 'Here I am.'
2Then God said, 'Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.'
29When the time of Israel’s death drew near, he called for his son Joseph and said to him, 'If I have found favor in your eyes, put your hand under my thigh and promise to show me steadfast love and faithfulness. Do not bury me in Egypt.'
2So Sarai said to Abram, "Look, the LORD has prevented me from having children. Please go to my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her." And Abram listened to Sarai's voice.
12But God said to Abraham, 'Do not be distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.'
