5 Abraham said to his servants, 'Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I will go over there to worship, and then we will come back to you.'

11 But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven, 'Abraham! Abraham!' And he replied, 'Here I am.'
13 Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket. So he went and took the ram, and he offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son.
14 And Abraham named that place 'The LORD Will Provide,' as it is said to this day, 'On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.'
15 Then the angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time from heaven,
16 and said, 'By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
1 After these events, God tested Abraham and said to him, 'Abraham!' And he replied, 'Here I am.'
2 Then God said, 'Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.'
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He who had received the promises was ready to offer his only son,
6 Abraham said to him, "Make sure that you do not take my son back there.
12 But God said to Abraham, 'Do not be distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.'
6 Then God said to him in the dream, 'Yes, I know that you did this with a clear conscience, so I also kept you from sinning against Me. That is why I did not let you touch her.'
13 And there was the Lord standing above it, and He said, 'I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. The land on which you are lying, I will give to you and to your descendants.'
11 Abraham replied, 'I thought, Surely there is no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.'
23 Now swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me, my children, or my descendants. Show to me and the land where you have lived the same kindness I have shown to you.
