7 And He said to him, "I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess."
8 But Abram said, "Lord GOD, how can I know that I will possess it?"
13 And there was the Lord standing above it, and He said, 'I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. The land on which you are lying, I will give to you and to your descendants.'
14 Your descendants will be as numerous as the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west, to the east, to the north, and to the south. Through you and your descendants, all the families of the earth will be blessed.
