9When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there, arranged the wood on it, bound his son Isaac, and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.
10Then Abraham reached out his hand, took the knife, and prepared to slaughter his son.
19So Gideon went and prepared a young goat and from an ephah of flour made unleavened bread. He put the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot, and brought them out and offered them under the terebinth tree.
