Joseph asked them, "What is this deed you have done? Do you not know that a man like me can certainly practice divination?"

16Judah replied, "What can we say to my lord? How can we speak or justify ourselves? God has uncovered the guilt of your servants. Here we are, my lord's slaves, both we and the one in whose possession the cup was found."
17But Joseph said, "Far be it from me to do this! The man in whose possession the cup was found will be my slave. As for the rest of you, go back to your father in peace."
18Then Judah stepped forward and said, "Please, my lord, let your servant speak a word in my lord's hearing, and do not be angry with your servant, for you are like Pharaoh."
14Judah and his brothers arrived at Joseph's house while he was still there, and they fell to the ground before him.
17'This is what you are to say to Joseph: “Please forgive the transgressions of your brothers and their sin, for they treated you so badly.” Now, please forgive the transgressions of the servants of the God of your father.' Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
18Then his brothers also came, bowed down before him, and said, 'We are your servants.'
19But Joseph said to them, 'Do not be afraid. Am I in the place of God?'
39So Pharaoh said to Joseph, 'Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.'
17The steward did as Joseph said and brought the men to Joseph's house.
15When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, 'What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and repays us for all the evil we did to him?'
15Pharaoh said to Joseph, 'I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said about you that when you hear a dream, you can interpret it.'
15For I was forcibly taken from the land of the Hebrews, and even here I have done nothing to deserve being put in this pit.
8So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me like a father to Pharaoh, lord over all his household, and a ruler throughout Egypt.
1Joseph could no longer hold back his emotions in front of everyone standing near him, so he called out, 'Have everyone leave my presence!' No one remained with him when Joseph revealed himself to his brothers.
17The man said, "They have moved on from here, for I heard them say, 'Let us go to Dothan.'" So Joseph went after his brothers and found them in Dothan.
17Pharaoh said to Joseph, 'Tell your brothers to do this: Load your animals and go back to the land of Canaan.'
7He asked Pharaoh's officials who were in custody with him in his master's house, 'Why do you look so downcast today?'
