    6I have revealed Your name to the people You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

    7Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You.

    9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they are Yours.

    11I will no longer be in the world, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by Your name, the name You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one.

    12While I was with them, I protected them and guarded them by Your name, the name You gave Me. None of them has been lost except the son of destruction, so that Scripture might be fulfilled.

    13But now I am coming to You, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have My joy fulfilled within them.

    14I have given them Your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

    18If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you.

    19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. But you do not belong to the world, for I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
