Only those who are clean may eat the meat. 20 If anyone who is unclean eats the meat from the peace offering that belongs to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people. 21 If anyone touches something unclean, whether it is human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat from the peace offering that belongs to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people. 22 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 23 Speak to the Israelites and say: You must not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep, or goats. 24 The fat of an animal found dead and the fat of an animal torn by wild beasts may be used for any other purpose but must not be eaten. 25 Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which a food offering to the Lord is made must be cut off from their people. 26 And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood of any bird or animal. 27 Anyone who eats blood must be cut off from their people. 28 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 29 Speak to the Israelites and say: Anyone who brings a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord must bring part of it as their offering to the Lord. 30 With his own hands he shall bring the offerings made by fire to the Lord.
