11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
12 And if you have not been trustworthy with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is truly yours?
13 No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
14 The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and sneered at him.
15 Then He said to them, "Watch out, and be on guard against every form of greed, because one’s life is not defined by the abundance of possessions."
16 And He told them a parable, saying, "The land of a certain rich man produced a bountiful harvest.
17 And he thought to himself, saying, 'What shall I do, for I have no place to store my crops?'
42 The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master will put in charge of his servants to give them their portion of food at the proper time?
19 "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.

21 So it is with one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.

12 So he said, "A nobleman traveled to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself and then return.

24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him.
25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
14 For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his own servants and entrusted his belongings to them.

24 Then he said to those standing by, 'Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.'
