32 Send someone to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. He is staying as a guest in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.'
3 One afternoon, about three o’clock, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying, 'Cornelius.'
4 Cornelius gazed at him in fear and asked, 'What is it, Lord?' The angel replied, 'Your prayers and your acts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God.'
5 Now send men to Joppa and call for Simon, who is also named Peter.
6 He is staying as a guest with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.
10 But anything in the waters that does not have fins and scales, you are not to eat; it is unclean for you.
34 Then Peter began to speak: 'Now I truly understand that God does not show favoritism,
12 The Spirit told me to go with them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house.
13 He told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house and saying, ‘Send men to Joppa and bring back Simon, who is called Peter.
18 And He said to them, "Are you also without understanding? Do you not realize that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him?
19 For it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and then it goes out into the latrine." (In saying this, He declared all foods clean.)
22 They replied, 'Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous and God-fearing man who is well-spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear what you have to say.'
23 So Peter invited them in as his guests. The next day he got up and went with them. Some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
14 Then Peter stood up with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: 'Men of Judea and all who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.'
46 for they were hearing them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter responded:
14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.
9 He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

47 You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.

11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
20 These are the things that defile a person, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; rather, both their mind and conscience are defiled.
