    31He said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your acts of charity have been remembered before God.

    32Send someone to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. He is staying as a guest in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.'

    33So immediately, I sent for you, and you were kind enough to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to say.

    34Then Peter began to speak: 'Now I truly understand that God does not show favoritism,

    35but in every nation, the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.

    36He sent the message to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
