3The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
7I hate those who pay regard to worthless idols, but I trust in the LORD.
8I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, for you have seen my affliction and have known the distress of my soul.
4Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death.

8For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
4I call upon the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.
10For I eat ashes as my food and mix my drink with tears.
1On that day, you will say, "I will praise you, LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away, and you have comforted me."
9For You, Lord, are Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.
2I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.
