    5 Then He speaks to them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath:

  • 31 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Remove the turban and take off the crown. Things will not remain as they are. Exalt the lowly and bring down the exalted.

  • 38 Yet He, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. Time and again, He restrained His anger and did not stir up His full wrath.
