4 But now, be strong, Zerubbabel—this is the declaration of the LORD. Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land—this is the declaration of the LORD. Work, for I am with you—this is the declaration of the LORD of Hosts.
14 Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will fulfill the good promise I have made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
15 In those days and at that time, I will cause a righteous Branch to sprout for David, and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land.
1 A shoot will come forth from the trunk of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit.
5 Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch. He will reign as king, act wisely, and execute justice and righteousness in the land.
7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you will become a plain. He will bring out the capstone with shouts of 'Grace, grace to it!'
8 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you.

2 In that day, the branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and splendor of the survivors of Israel.
13 Behold, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised up, lifted high, and greatly exalted.
11 But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past, declares the LORD of Hosts.
15 Those who are far away will come and help build the temple of the LORD. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

10 “Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,” declares the LORD.
21 Their leader will be one of their own, and their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near, and he will approach Me—for who would dare to risk his life to approach Me? declares the LORD.
8 Go up into the mountains, bring down timber, and build the house, so that I may be pleased with it and be glorified, says the LORD.
7 For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the Lord of Hosts.
13 I have raised him up in righteousness and I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, not for a price or reward, says the LORD of Hosts.

7 Now then, tell my servant David: 'This is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people Israel.
33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of Hosts, will lop off the branches with terrifying power. The tall trees will be cut down, and the lofty ones will be humbled.
