21Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah: 'I am about to shake the heavens and the earth.'
14And it will be said: 'Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.'
4Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
4On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which lies before Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a very great valley, so that half of the mountain will move northward and the other half southward.
5You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley between the mountains will reach to Azal. You will flee as you fled because of the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.
8Listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your associates sitting before you, who are symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.
9See, the stone I have set before Joshua! There are seven eyes on that stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.'
25Behold, I am against you, the destroying mountain, declares the Lord, you who destroy the whole earth. I will stretch out My hand against you, roll you off the cliffs, and make you a burned-out mountain.
26No stone will be taken from you for a cornerstone or foundation, for you will be desolate forever, declares the Lord.
10Pass through, pass through the gates! Clear the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway; remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations!
1In the last days, the mountain of the house of the LORD will be firmly established at the top of the mountains, and it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
8Go up into the mountains, bring down timber, and build the house, so that I may be pleased with it and be glorified, says the LORD.

12Tell him: This is what the LORD of Hosts says: "Here is a man whose name is Branch; He will branch out from His place and build the temple of the LORD.
15See, I will make you into a sharp threshing sledge, new and covered with many blades. You will thresh the mountains and crush them and reduce the hills to chaff.
12He will demolish the high fortress of your walls, bring it down to the ground, to the very dust.
6For the LORD of Hosts says this: Once more, in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7I will shake all the nations, and the treasures of all the nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts.
9This is what the LORD of Hosts says: Let your hands be strong, you who in these days hear these words from the mouths of the prophets who were present when the foundation was laid for rebuilding the temple of the LORD of Hosts.
4The mountains will melt beneath Him, and the valleys will split open like wax before the fire, like water cascading down a slope.
10The whole land will be transformed like the plain of the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.
16Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: 'Behold, I am laying a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation. The one who believes will not panic.'
12Therefore because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the temple will become a high place overgrown with thickets.
38The days are coming, declares the LORD, when the city will be rebuilt for the LORD, from the Tower of Hananeel to the Corner Gate.
9The glory of this latter house will be greater than that of the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will give peace—this is the declaration of the LORD of Hosts.
8Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying:
3The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; you say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?"
15Now think carefully from this day forward: Before a single stone was laid on another in the temple of the LORD—
4Though Edom may say, 'We have been destroyed, but we will rebuild the ruins,' this is what the LORD of Hosts says: They may rebuild, but I will tear it down. They will be called 'The Wicked Land,' and 'The people the LORD is angry with forever.'
15Those who are far away will come and help build the temple of the LORD. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.
12Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the entire remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD.
1Listen now to what the Lord says: "Arise, present your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice."
2In the last days, the mountain of the Lord's house will be firmly established at the top of the mountains, lifted above the hills, and all nations will flow to it.
4The LORD said, 'This is what you are to say to him: Behold, what I have built I am tearing down, and what I have planted I am uprooting—the entire land.'
17Proclaim again: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: 'My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.'
3But Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the rest of the heads of the families of Israel said to them, "You have no part with us in building a temple to our God. We alone will build it for the LORD, the God of Israel, as King Cyrus, king of Persia, has commanded us."
17But on Mount Zion there will be deliverance; it will be holy, and the house of Jacob will possess its inheritance.
