7 Nowe Herod the Tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he douted, because that it was sayd of some, that Iohn was risen againe from the dead:
8 And of some, that Elias had appeared: and of some, that one of the olde Prophets was risen againe.

21 But the time being conuenient, when Herod on his birth day made a banket to his princes and captaines, and chiefe estates of Galile:
22 And the daughter of the same Herodias came in, & daunced, and pleased Herod, and them that sate at table together, the King sayd vnto the mayde, Aske of me what thou wilt, and I will giue it thee.
16 So when Herod heard it, he said, It is Iohn whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.

7 And when he knewe that he was of Herods iurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, which was also at Hierusalem in those dayes.

20 He added yet this aboue all, that he shut vp Iohn in prison.
14 And Iesus returned by the power of the spirite into Galile: and there went a fame of him throughout all the region round about.

18 And the disciples of Iohn shewed him of all these things.
21 And vpon a day appointed, Herod arayed himselfe in royall apparell, and sate on the iudgement seate, and made an oration vnto them.

2 And when Iohn heard in the prison the woorkes of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and sayde vnto him,
27 For doutlesse, against thine holy Sonne Iesus, whome thou haddest anoynted, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel gathered themselues together,
7 But Iesus auoided with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed him from Galile, and from Iudea,
17 From that time Iesus began to preach, and to say, Amende your liues: for the kingdome of heauen is at hand.
1 And in those dayes, Iohn the Baptist came and preached in the wildernes of Iudea,
15 But so much more went there a fame abroad of him, and great multitudes came together to heare, and to be healed of him of their infirmities.
45 But when he was departed, hee began to tel many things, and to publish the matter: so that Iesus could no more openly enter into the citie, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from euery quarter.
65 Then feare came on all them that dwelt neere vnto them, and all these woordes were noised abroade throughout all the hill countrey of Iudea.
22 But whe he heard that Archelaus did reigne in Iudea in stead of his father Herod, he was afraide to go thither: yet after he was warned of God in a dreame, he turned aside into the parts of Galile,
9 And it came to passe in those dayes, that Iesus came from Nazareth, a citie of Galile, and was baptized of Iohn in Iordan.
35 I will heare thee, said he, when thine accusers also are come, and commaunded him to bee kept in Herods iudgement hall.
13 And when Iesus heard it, hee departed thence by shippe into a desert place apart; when the multitude had heard it, they followed him on foote out of the cities.
4 And Iesus answering, said vnto them, Goe, and shewe Iohn, what things ye heare, and see.
34 And when they were come ouer, they came into the land of Gennezaret.
